One can hardly believe that another month is upon us. Reports on '69s are pouring in—at the rate of three per month. As we hit the slower winter months, let's keep up the pace.
Dave Selander has recently made a move, being named Manager of Advertising and Sales Promotion for Tuck Industries, Inc., of New Rochelle. Also on the business side (business is in this year, as a recent election demonstrated), Bill Owen became managing director of Northstar Industries' NY office. Would you believe that since he graduated from Tuck, Bill has also headed the corporate planning operation for a subsidiary of Kaiser Aluminum and held planning and marketing positions for both Tora Mfg. Corp. and General Mills? Bill was last seen on Wall Street wearing a white buttoned-down shirt, gray suit, and narrow-striped tie.
Tom Stickney is back from Germany via Vietnam. A first lieutenant upon his discharge last spring, Tom is now in Hartford for Connecticut Bank & Trust Co.
On the home front, Rick Willets is back teaching again in Haverhill, Mass. Only difference: he lost his bed warmer. Jon S. Swenson, our scout reports, recently cast aside his bachelor's robes. Say it ain't so, Jon?
Bill Donovan and Pete Zacchilli graduated BC Law in June. Just goes to show you that someone from Theta Delt can graduate from Dartmouth and go to graduate school.
Our scout also reports that Al Dennison ("Oregon", for short) came all the way from Lake Oswego, Ore., to Boston and did not report in. Better watch out, Al. Some people want me to keep this job for 12 more years.
Don't forget the Reunion.
