A letter from Art Lord brings news of all the Tenners in the Clearwater area of Florida. Art has had a difficult time with his eyes. The operation for cataract had to be stopped almost before it was begun. At the time of writing Art was looking forward to a second attempt. Through Art's letter we learn that Larry and Mini Bankart have given up living on Harvard Street. Art writes their new location looks "out over the water to Clearwater Beach and is within walking distance of downtown stores and centers of interest." That is a great help to them as they do a lot of walking and it is an attractive area to walk in.

Herb Wolff, our Class Bequest Chairman, says, "life income giving has been one of the fastest growing ways by which Dartmouth men and their families have been benefiting the College... I am a strong booster for this method of what I call 'painless giving' to Dartmouth... "In our class only a very few have taken advantage of this attractive giving method but I firmly believe that other classmates would give favorable consideration to a Dartmouth Life Income Trust if they thoroughly understood the substantial benefits involved." Herb- has a memo on this subject which will clarify the matter for all interested Tenners. Ask him for a copy.

A note from Chad Chadbowrne tells us, "Fairly well here, but it has been a cold, snowy winter in these parts." To prove this statement he encloses a newspaper clipping showing, "Six feet and more of snow is found along south shore of Lake McDonald." Chad wants us to know that his Montana is holding its own against the widespread competition the rest of the country is giving his favorite state.

Another enclosure in Chad's letter was a copy of the tribute paid Walter Norton in the funeral service. This clearly indicates that Walter was a "builder of men." The pastor said, "Some of you here today have felt the warmth of his encouragement, You remember him as the person who was instrumental in your development."

June is not far away and it is hoped that a lot of Tenners who are not too far away are planning to be in Hanover for our informal reunion of 72. The dates are June 12, 13, 14.
