Chuck Downey sent a note saying, "Two days older than George Washington. I had my 67th on February 20 and started a new deal as district manager in the Springfield area for Gem-Mayflower, worldwide movers." Pretty good for a guy who once made some history himself as one of the earliest beneficiaries of open-heart surgery.

Jay Willing reports, "I joined the ranks of the unemployed last August 1 and am having a ball for myself. Marion and I spent six weeks in Europe last fall and are planning another trip to England and France next fall."

On Monday, 27 February, Sam andAllice Wormser moved into their new home in Westchester County. Sam says, "Although we will be living in the town of Harrison, N. Y., for some reason the mailing address will be Greenway Road, Rye, N. Y., 10580."

From Sid Voice came word: "Still alive and hard at work. Really don't envy all those classmates in Florida but I do like hearing about those who travel. My Moroccan trip is off but hope to spend a couple of weeks in southern Spain in late April. Grandchildren now 5 but I realize I'll never get a bottle of Old Grandad for that!"

And some more good news came from Phil Fowler. "I continue to make good progress, though of course at a slower rate. Larry Scammon is in St. Petersburg and came by for a golf game a week or so ago. Then last week Art and Marion Keleher came over from Dunedin about ten miles away for a family foursome. We correspond with the Choukases from time to time. Gertrude writes that Mike is extremely busy with new duties as Provost at Pierce College and that young Mike, D '54, and wife Nita will join them in Athens in March." Phil and Madeleine are at Odessa, Fla., but expect to be home about the first of April.

Paul Hannah, 45th Reunion chairman, has announced the appointment by President Howie Mullin of two new members of the Reunion Committee: Tom Anglem and Mel Partridge. Paul is busy with many preliminary details, including committee assignments, and these will be announced as soon as they are settled. Don't forget the dates: Monday-Wednesday, June 11-13, 1973.
