Each year the College publishes a directory of its alumni officers. It is very interesting to note the increasing penetration of our Class into this group which is so important do Dartmouth. We have 16 men listed there this year, not including those who are members of the Class Executive Committee.

Jere Daniell is a member of the Dartmouth Alumni Council representing the faculty. He is also an overseer of the Hanover Inn. Joe Mathewson and John Demas are also members of the council.

Ken Lundstrom is vice president of the Alumni Club Association and is also district enrollment director from the Delaware area, ken works for Du Pont in the new business area. Other district enrollment directors include Gene Girard, St. Louis; Steve Little, Providence; CharlieGreenberg, Long Beach; and Milo White, Ann Arbor. That job involves responsibility for all recruitment and interviewing of Dartmouth applicants. It requires a great deal of time and talent. Hat soff to those five for their willingness to do this vital work.

Our classmates are very active in the management of the local Dartmouth Clubs as well. WaltBoden and Don Hummel are presidents of Atlanta and Chicago respectively. Shep Jackson is president of the Mid-Hudson Valley Club in New York. Club secretaries are Nels Jones in Springfield, Mass., John Barker in Northern New Jersey and Peter Robinson in Paris, France. DaveWalton is liaison officer in New Canaan. BobGarver and Milo White are job placement heads in Boston and Ann Arbor respectively.

Mrs. Doris Wilson, Glenn's mother, sent us a very nice note. She said "The Class of '55 has been a marvelous morale builder for his wife Adlyn and for his father and me. You have never forgotten him." She also advised that Adlyn had received a letter written October 12 in which Glenn congratulated his sister for her marriage to a Dartmouth graduate, Richard Wenzel. Thayer '72, He said "I hope she has better luck with her Dartmouth man than you did." Mrs. Wilson coneluded by wishing us all the best in 1973.

Jay Brooks took a bride September 24, 1972 Let's toast the former Mary Danielski and welcome her to the fold. She's a Bard College graduate and is now educational coordinator at historic Old Deerfield, Mass.

Dick Morrill was active last spring redistricting in the state of Washington. He was accused of secretly aiding the Republicans because the GOP Attorney General is also a Dartmouth graduate

Pete Knoke is Associate Professor of Computer Science at Wright State U. in Dayton. TedHawkins is an account executive with BBDO advertising in New York. Welcome back, Hawk

Neal Allen will soon become a VP with Citizens and Southern Investment Counselling, Inc. Pete Stevens is a stockbroker with Wiesenberger Services, New York City', specializing in market timing.

John Kemeny has responded to the question raised in the December issue about ROTC. His prompt and frank reply are typical of this great President. "As for my own position on ROTC, I continue to believe that we should review the question of such programs at Dartmouth when that can be done in an atmosphere that will permit the question to be judged on its merits. I don't believe that is possible until the U. S. has disengaged itself from the conflict in Indochina. As I am sure you are aware, the Trustees voted last April to make such a review when the time is appropriate. My guess is that a premature re-opening of this question might yield the same kind of problems that have afflicted Princeton during the past year and might eventually delay by many years the objectives you seek."
