Ed Spetnagel writes: "Jane and I are fine. Gettins ready for quick trip to Tennessee where Ed's coal and timber business is located - Clinton, Tenn." Their youngest son Rick lives there. Jane and Ed have returned from Germany and will be in Boca Raton, Fla. Now living at Lake Waramaug, New Preston, Connecticut. EdFowler has ourchased a home in Boca Raton to use from October to May. Will be back in New Hampshire for summer months. Ollie Holmes has retired and is living close to Hanover. "A more detailed letter will be sent to 'Jake' bringing up to date the comings and goings of' Ollie Holmes.
From Red Bank, N.J., comes a letter from Bill Morgan with news of his retirement December 29 after 43 years in the paper industry. "Never made any money" but has enjoyed his position as a paper salesman. "It was great!" The Morgans are planning a trip to Switzerland and Belgium in April. Last year they did England, France, and all of Italy. He is looking forward to a more extended tour of Switzerland. Bob Drake and Martha spent Christmas with their daughters and their families in Tiburon and Pebble Beach, California. On their way home, they had lunch in Chicago with DickBlack. A letter from Dan Marx enclosed Palo Alto Times clipping, carrying news of MortCrowell's wife's death, which followed Mort's death by two weeks.
