The Class News Bag is badly in need of replenishment. Please take a minute to drop me a line with news of yourself or other '64s. News from wives, sweethearts, secretaries, and parents of '64s will also be welcomed; allegations from irate creditors will be sympathetically ignored.

Another '64 has achieved fatherhood. MikeMoore and his lovely wife JoAnn became the proud parents of Joseph Michael Moore on November 15. Joseph is a big, healthy kid, and if his crawling exploits are any indication, he should make a fine rugger for the Green. Mike is still practicing law in Lewiston, Idaho, and serves as the Lewiston City Attorney in his spare time. Mike looks forward to seeing his classmates again at our reunion in '75.

Richard Neely rates a hearty '64 cheer for his election (by a substantial majority) to a 12-year term as a judge of the West Virginia Supreme Court. Dick is reportedly the youngest Appellate Judge in the United States. Great things seem to be in store for Dick. He has already indicated his intention to seek election to the U.S. Senate seat now occupied by his grandfather, Senator Jennings Randolph, upon the Senator's retirement. Dick is fast emerging as the "Great Green Hope" of the Democratic Party.

The Travelers Insurance Company has named Dennis Purnell as district manager in the casualty property commercial lines department of their Manchester, N.H., office. He has worked for Travelers since he graduated. Dennis is married and lives with his charming wife and two children in Merrimac, N.H.

Dr. Robert Park Newman married Jo Catherine Hynes recently in Corpus Christi, Texas. After a wedding trip to the Netherlands, Germany, and France, Bob and his bride settled in Corpus Christi, where he serves as the chief of radiology at the local Naval Hospital.

Ted Howard's lovely wife Karen has written a nice note to inform us that Ted has finished his Ph.D. in urban planning at Columbia University. Concurrently, the Howards announced the birth of their second son, Kevin Douglas, last June. 1972 was a very good year for the Howards.

Lew Eisenberg, fast becoming a baron of Wall Street, telephoned early one morning from a raucous party which he was hosting in honor of Herb McCord. Lew informed me that Herb, late of CBS and New York City, has just accepted a fantastic job as vice president and general manager of CKLW Radio in Windsor, Ontario. Herb and Judi and their faithful beagle companion "Moosebreath" will be taking up residence in Windsor soon. '64s in the vicinity of Detroit and Windsor are advised to augment their bar supplies, hide their women and children, and prepare themselves to welcome Herb to their area.

That's about it for the news; please keep those cards and letters coming. Later.
