Steve Sherman wrote a nice note to bring us up to date on his activities. Steve and his lovely wife Gale are the proud parents of a baby boy, Alexander. Steve is still in the Public Health Service, and is currently assigned as an epidemiologist in the New Mexico Health and Social Services Department in Santa Fe. Weather-wise, Santa Fe is considerably more comfortable than Steve's last place of assignment in Anchorage, Alaska. But Steve and Gale long for the hills of northern New England, and when his current tour in Santa Fe is up in 1973, Steve may aim for there.

Cheers for Gerry Reichwald who has been named assistant vice president at the First National Bank of Minneapolis. Gerry had been an investment officer for the bank until his recent promotion.

Larry Danson is an assistant professor of English at Princeton. He and his charming wife Mimi and their two-year old son Benjamin reside in Princeton. Larry earned his Ph.D. at Yale after two years at Oxford on a Reynolds fellowship.

Pat Terenzini is up to his ears in his doctoral dissertation at Syracuse, and is praying for a mild Winter. Friends may send encouragement to Pat at Building A3, Upper 3. Old Slocum Heights, Syracuse, N.Y. 13210. Hang in there, Pat!

Jim Miller rates a wah-hoo-wah for his recent promotion to Manager of Marketing Research at Investors Diversified Services in Minneapolis. Jim joined IDS in 1968 as a marketing research analyst. He and his spouse Carol have two young sons.

This month's '64 Career Spotlight glares brightly upon the person of none other than George Lewin. Aside from his duties as a pediatrician at Hickam AFB in Honolulu, George serves as a stalwart member of the Mauna Kea Ski Patrol. He reports good snow on Mauna Kea, a 13,780 dead volcano, from Thanksgiving until April every year. In April, George trades his Heads for a surfboard and a lei. Aahhhloha!

Frank "Gil" Myers has reportedly left Hewlett-Parkard in Palo Alto, and has joined the Mayfield Fund in that same city. Mayfield is a venture capital fund, looking at small, technically-oriented companies that need private financing.

Spies tell me that John W. Griffin III emerged unscathed from a post-OCS tour of 'Nam, and is happily employed as a production control supervisor for Minneapolis Honeywell. The local lovelies have found John impossible to pin down, and he is relishing his stateside bachelorhood for the time being.

Joel Deweese is working as a G. P. in his old hometown of Benidji, Minn. He married the former Natalie Roholt of Benidji five years ago, and reports that there has been "no people pollution as yet." Life would be totally idyllic in Benidji were it not for the Marcus Welby scriptwriters who keep following Joel around locking for new material.

George Fesus was married in June to the former Susan Cookson, and now resides in Yardley, Pa., and works for American Express in Trenton. George reports that Bill Lewis is organizing a trip to Zermatt this month, and he and Susan have signed on to join Bill and Ed and EarlRubel—Watch this column for further reports.

That's about it for the class news. Please take a minute to drop me a line with news about yourself or other '64's. Later.
