Well, I am in the Atlanta airport on my way to Pensacola, Fla., to represent someone in front of the Federal grand jury and assert our Fifth Amendment rights. (Those are the ones Ed Meese wants to get rid of.) I have just finished a five-week trial and I wish I were somewhere in the Caribbean drinking cold white wine. Anyway, here's the news from the class of '74.

Rob Stone writes that after completing medical school at Dartmouth and a residency in Denver, he has returned to Indiana and is happily remarried. Rob practices emergency medicine.

Ed Duszlak resides in Burlington, N.C., and reports the celebration of his third child, Catherine Marie, on June 8. He is practicing radiology in Burlington and his wife, Carla, is presently on leave from her psychiatry practice to "satisfy her mothering instinct."

Gary Giannelli reports that he has moved from Dallas, Tex., to Wallingford, Conn. He has previously been in Dallas for seven years with various electronic computer OEMs. He is currently the general manager for Sterling Electronics. He is also operating a marketing consulting business on his own. He is married, with four children ages 11, nine, four, and nine months.

Haynes and Michelle Lund have moved from Minneapolis to Seattle, where Michelle is with Boeing Computer Services designing user interface for a new computeraided design and drafting system. Haynes is a project architect with an older well-established firm in downtown Seattle called John Graham Associates. They live in the suburbs with a view of the Olympic mountains, downtown Seattle, Lake Washington, and more. They have two children, Darren, seven, and Brian, three.

Rick Ranger has a new job as district landman, offshore and special projects, for the western (California, Oregon, and Washington) district of ARCO Oil and Gas. He is going to relocate to Bakersfield in November. Cathy is chairing a major com- munity fund raiser in the interim and they are trying to finish their "fixer-up" projects so that they can sell their house at an "inflated value." Their son Owen is four.

Chris Nicholson reports that she and Cal Bowie '73 just had their second child, a daughter, Blair, born on June 8. She joins her sister Alexandra, age two.

David Harkcom is presently collecting bad checks for airlines in Minneapolis which pays better than his previous job in poverty law.

Freddie M. Fu and his wife, Hilda, live in Pittsburgh, Pa., with their two children, Gordon, ten, and Joyce, five. He is an orthopedic surgeon mainly doing sports medicine. He is also the head team physician for the Pittsburgh Panthers, Pittsburgh Women's Marathon, and the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre.

Marsha Shaines was an exchange student at Dartmouth and a Smith ('74) graduate. She is married to Bob Loesche (Haverford '73). They have two children, Emily, four, and Sam, one. She is assistant general counsel for the Smithsonian Institution.
