Harry Condon will be pleased to have you send him a check for class dues. Last year 1930 led all but one class from 1927 forward in the percentage of members paying dues (71). He is aiming for 80% participation this year. Add three classmates to the Florida delegation; BillTruex at St. Petersburg, Hank Odbert at Gainesville, and Al Bolte at Riviera Beach; and to Maine add Bill OBrion, from Darien to Cape Elizabeth. Young Ed Carroll reaches 65 in October but has no plans to retire from the presidency of Woodman Insurance Co. Elizabeth and Frank Fowler are grandparents for the seventh time, but it's the first for the Frank Fowlers III. He is a Methodist minister in Plainfield, N.J. Jan and Chip Raymond also have a new son, Lucas Charles. Chip is deputy director of the Office of Planning and Program Assistance for the NY Division of Criminal Justice.

Bill Putnam scotches rumors of his retirement. "What I do have is the promise of a young physician to join my little group next year. Obviously this will lead eventually to retirement and I am already taking longer vacations, going to fewer meetings, and saying 'no' to more requests." Bill Doran has returned from what he believes to be the first Green reunion in Ireland at Rosemary and Harry Casler's Church House in County Cork. "It mixed the grandeur of the barons of Ireland (McDonough and Casler) with the warmth of Dartmouth on a glorious day." Hope those barons can get to one of our domestic reunions one day soon.

Fred Bowes recently headed a fund drive for Aid for the Retarded Inc. in Stamford. Sought $500,000. Found $614,000. Fred recommends this kind of activity for 1930 retirees. If we could all be that successful in seeking and finding, it would surely be good therapy. Norma and GilLowery from nearby Marion dropped in this summer and like everyone, we talked of inflation and high interest rates (Gil is in the real estate business in Wareham). Also Gladys andDick Parker, to reminisce about that wonderful Pocantico Hills affair.

Hank Wood devotes a lot of time to St. Johnsbury Kiwanis activities, serving as treasurer and director. As well as being a hockey and summer theater buff, he has a commitment to five Dartmouth football games this fall, and is enrolled at Lyndon State College, starting on another masters degree.

Chairman Buck Steers has started planning for our 1976 reunion. If he calls on you to help, please say yes.
