The moving finger writes: "The following members of our Class whose birthdays fall in October were born under the sign of Libra the Balance: Margeson, Humphries, Kehayas, and Parker".
They are hereby entitled to all of the benefits which accrue to this auspicious circumstance and to the congratulations of all of the members of the Class.
Our debonair class chairman, Rufe Sisson, writes to us from his summer residence in Northport, Mich., as follows:
Congratulations to you for being named '1975 Class Newsletter Editor of the Year'. It is a real honor to you and further evidence that our Class deserves the title of 'The Famous Class of 1914'.
"The job of securing and publishing news of our classmates is very important, especially since you are wearing two hats by editing the newsletter and also a column in the Alumni Magazine, for it is news of one another that tends to hold a class together and to maintain class spirit."
"I am very sorry that I could not be present to join in the festivities but I think the Class did very well by having three of its officers in attendance at the 'Class Officers Meeting'."
In a letter to Rufe Sisson, Moose Englehorn writes from his home in Philadelphia as follows:
"We are very proud of all our recently elected class officers who are serving the College so admirably. All deserve a great deal of thanks and appreciation from all of us whom they represent.
"Please excuse me for not appearing at our 60th Reunion and express my regrets and best wishes to our classmates whom I have revered since entering Dartmouth College. All of them have been wonderful and I shall cherish the memory as long as I live."
"Viola is convalescing but it is necessary for me to remain at home with her until she is fully recovered."
Evelyn (Mrs. Kenneth) Grant has moved back to Massachusetts from her home in Camden, Maine. Her new address is 34 Lee House Beverly, Mass.
From the maze of New York City EndersVoorhees writes to us as follows: "I thank you for writing to me but I am not much given to looking backward so I can not promise to write of any personal experience for publication. However, I am in good health and keep busy so the days go by very quickly."

A Word from Ye Editor
Last summer one of our friends invited us to attend a spiritulist seance with him by a deeply wrinkled old woman who had attained quite a reputation in the neighborhood as a consultant with familiar spirits.
Out of curiosity, and to satisfy my friends importunity, I agreed to go although I had no expectation of receiving a message from the spirit world.
Inside the run-down cottage which was the home of the old crone we found a small group of people already assembled and seated in a circle as we took our places and the seance began. It was somewhat of a shock to me a few moments later when my name was called. A cold chill went up and down my spine and I was hardly able to get my acknowledgement up and out of my paralysed throat. "I have a message for you from one of your former college classmates," the medium croaked. He says, "My life on earth was not so very exciting but I had lots of interesting experiences and I always meant to write to my class secretary to tell him some of my reminiscences. I am very sorry now that I didn't write to him when I had the chance for now it is too damn late."
At this point I interupted the old gal as she was about to announce his name and I said, "Oh yes, I remember that fellow."
In a sepulchral voice the medium continued, "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions," she rasped.
"Oh my gosh!" I said in alarm, I do hope he didn't have to go that way on my account. He was such a nice guy when I knew him, but why didn't he tell us his stories to remember him by? We would all have enjoyed them so much!"
