If it were not for a news release coming "over the transome" from Reliance Electric Company, there would not be one item of news about the Class of '40 in the March column file.

Thanks to Reliance, it can be reported that Scotty Rogers has been elected to the board of directors of that Cleveland-based firm, for which he first worked immediately after graduation from Dartmouth and before joining the Army for World War II. Echoes of Horatio Alger.

But "where of where" are (the rest of) the grand alumni (of the Class of '40)? According to song, they're "safe at last in the wide, wide world." But that assurance really isn't quite enough. So, the appeal at the end of the last column, is doubled in spades: Let's hear from you in '75.
