Wayne Beyer is in Washington, D.C., working for Congressman John Breckinridge of Kentucky as legislative assistant and press secretary. Previously, Wayne served in a similar capacity in the office of former Congressman Peter Kyros of Maine. In his spare time, Wayne is working on a law degree piecemeal at Georgetown and visiting Hanover to enjoy the College and winter sports.

Harry and Joan Jaffe are leaving Chicago this June to return to Washington, D.C., where Harry will complete his residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown Hospital. Harry interrupted his medical training to serve in the Public Health Service. The Jaffe family now includes Blair Susan (recently three) and Michael Robert, born last October 25.

William Eggeling has been appointed law clerk to Mr. Justice William Rehnquist of the U.S. Supreme Court. Bill's law degree was granted by Boston University Law School.

The .Elgin (Illinois) Daily Courier-News has selected rookie Wally Bowman as football coach of the year. Wally guided St. Edward's of the West Suburban Catholic Conference to its first winning season in six years. Perhaps some of Wally's good fortune will rub off on the Green eleven.

Ed Henderson has been promoted to the position of vice president of Chase Manhattan Bank in NYC. Ed and Jan are living in Middletown, N.J.. and have two children, Jennifer who is five d Christopher Edward who just turned one.

My thanks to Os Skinner, Secretary of '28, who noted that John Magee is assistant director of admissions and a member of the Lawrenceville School's English Department.

Jim Rooks writes that he is an assistant editor of the publications of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America at the Roscoe PoundAmerican Trial Lawyers Research Center in Cambridge, Mass. He graduated from B.U. School of Law in June of last year and was admitted to the Massachusetts bar this past December. His wife Corry graduated magnacum laude from U. Mass in June, 1974. For the moment Corry has retired from academics to devote more time to Margaret, age two and onehalf, and the Rooks' home in Acton.

Marine Captain Jon Feltner has been awarded the Bronze Star Medal and a citation for heroism and exceptional leadership as a rifle platoon commander in Vietnam from January to May 1968. To quote, "Although wounded on two occasions durirtg that period, Captain Feltner continued to lead his unit against fortified enemy positions. Through his courage and dedication, he contributed significantly to the accomplishment of the command's mission." Jon is presently operations officer for the 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, on Okinawa.

The law firm of Severson, Werson, Berke, and Melchior of San Francisco has been bolstered by the addition of Hale Kronenberg as an associate.

Joe and Susan Alviani are living in Washington, D.C. Joe is general counsel for the National Conference of State Criminal Justice Planning Administrators. Susan is in her second year of law school at American University.

Walter and Kay Morrison are living in Charlottesville, Va., where Walter directs a legal research company named the Research Group Inc. Walter graduated from the U.. of Virginia Law School in 1970. Nina Kelly was born on July 6, 1973.

John Kronenberg is an investment officer with the First Wisconsin National Bank in Milwaukee. He and Kristin have two children, Leith (age 4) and Kirsten (eighteen months).

The short Arkansas winter is on the wane and those of us in the Southern Tier look forward to the pleasures of spring. Our home is open to all travellers. If you can't visit, write.
