An invitation from our colleague, the skier:
"The annual running of the most prestigious and hotly competitive ski race in the country will be held at Tuckerman's Ravine on Mt. Washington, at noon, Saturday, April 19. Alumni from Harvard and Dartmouth will challenge this historic mountain and its demanding course for the coveted slalom title. To our knowledge, Dartmouth has won every year.
But they're as stubborn as they are ambitious down in Cambridge, so this year surely will be as exciting as ever. Let's soak UP the sun, drink some wine, and put Harvard in its place.
Parking at the A.M.C. camp at Pinkham Notch. Rain date is Sunday, April 20."
