This month we devote some space for address changes from official sources: Mrs. Alton S.Palmer (Emilie) to 84 South Beach St., Apt. 103, Ormond Beach, Fla., 32074; Mrs. ArthurStockdale (Margaret) to 18152 Clifton Rd., Cleveland, Ohio 44107; Mrs. Fred A. Dowd to 2444 Madison Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45028. The latter lady was the wife of deceased classmate Jerry Kahn.

Tom Carpenter wrote that he and Elsie have moved from 123 Point Circle to nearby 2-B Turtle Creek Drive in Tequesta, Fla. 33458.

Sunny Sunergren sends a joyful note that he and Mildred moved from their large two-story home with cellar and attic in Hingham, Mass., which had been home for years, to a "cute six room ranch house" at 80 Scotland St., Hingham 02043, sans stairs. All went well during the move until the Sunergrens celebrated by going out to dinner, when Mildred unfortunately slipped on the front patio and fractured her hip. After several weeks in the hospital, she is recovering well, says Sunny, and hopes that some 1920s in the area may drop in to see them in their new quarters. He promises libations to those who do. Mildred, we regret your accident and extend our sympathy. We hope you are by now restored to good health.

Gro Plowman continues to gather awards for distinguished service. This time the Portland, Me., Sunday Telegram of June 13 reports a State of Maine testimonial award to Gro as Maine's leading transportation expert. The president and chairman of the board of the Maine Central called Dr. Plowman "a great transportation man and a great citizen." This former vice-president of U.S. Steel, college professor, and author of many treatises on transportation, who continues to lecture at the Universities of Maine and Wisconsin, also received a plaque from the Maine Truck Owners Association "for his great concern for the common carriers." Gro, your classmates are proud of you. Congratulations.

Kenneth Pike Emory writes from Honolulu of heart difficulty in February, but he had a pacemaker installed in May and is on the mend. The Hawaiian famous double canoe is making the return journey from Tahiti and by now has successfully docked in its home port at our island state.

From Ted Cart come two interesting items: his grandson, following in his father's footsteps, has chosen Williams; Dartmouth was his second choice. Ted's rental in Bermuda has ended, since his former landlord there is going to occupy the property Ted has long enjoyed. The Carts will transfer winter quarters to Florida in late 1976, locating at the Mountain Lake Club at Lake Wales, Fla.

We note with regret the passing of BobMulcahy in Watertown, Mass., on May 1. Bob's obituary appears elsewhere in this magazine. And we record with sadness the passing of Mrs.Aldrich B. Barnes (Elizabeth) of Kearsarge, N.H.; Mrs. Donald MacDonald (Victoria) of Andover, Mass.; and Mrs. John W. Stickney (Mabel) of Barstow, Fla.

Let me repeat the substance of a letter from Prexy McGoughran to classmates. Our treasury has endowed our memorial books program to assure its completion to the very last man. The endowment principal and income will then be allocated as a 1920 Memorial in perpetuity to the Baker Library purchase fund for books and monographs to enrich its resources for the future. The endowment sum was $4000.

Flash!! From Dresden, Me., comes the news that Al Frey has joined the "great grandpappies" 1920 club. Warrie Gault became a member last May or June, I believe. Any more members? Please advise your secretary.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving.
