A number of you were thoughtful enough to jot down a few notes on the back of your dues statements which Arnie Sigler has faithfully forwarded to me. One such notice, apparently a holdover from last spring, contains a message from Ray Dilworth's wife noting that their fourth child, Rachel Anne, would celebrate her first birthday coincident with the Lexington and Concord Bicentennial Festivities held last April 19. Ray was planning to march with the Concord Minutemen, toting a flintlock, in the Concord Parade. He and some of the other musketeers would return home in time for cake and ice cream. I hope someone got some good snapshots.

Chuck Kaufman notes that he is busy in the dairy business and is also on the board of trustees at Poly Prep in Brooklyn. Diane Kaufman is kept busy as president of the PTA at Manor Haven School and in raising their three kids, David, age 15, Elaine, age 12, and Lynn, age 7. The Kaufmans live in Sands Point, N.Y.

Tom Ashby writes that he has moved from Maine, where he was an insurance company executive, to King City, Calif., in the Salinas Valley. Tom is now working in a medical clinic for migrant farm workers. He admits that the change is dramatic, but says that the life is exciting and the work rewarding.

Marty Zipser, formerly in the Division of Pediatric Surgery at the University of Miami, School of Medicine, has moved to La Mirada, Calif., where he is engaging in general practice of surgery. He sent Sigler a prescription for "one trip to California." That's the kind of prescription I need, Marty, particularly if it is tax deductible. Jon Tuerk, a doctor in Washington, D.C., merely reports that he is "working too hard!" Perhaps Jon could also use one of Marty's prescriptions.

De De Passeggio writes that John is still a practicing dentist and this year is president of the Rockaway Dental Society and is on the executive board of the local chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also on the selection board of the American Abroad sector of the American Field Service. John has worked for the Alumni Fund and is currently on the local interviewing committee for Dartmouth applicants. John and De De live in Hewlett, N.Y., with their daughters, Nicole, age 12 and Camille, age 9. De De feels the girls are growing up much too quickly.

Ron de Neuf writes that he is out in central Pennsylvania with the rattlesnakes and deer working in the marketing area for Broadway Glass, Inc., the second largest producer of glass containers in the United States. Marilyn de Neuf has joined the ranks of liberated housewives by going into the real estate business with a firm from State College that has opened a branch office in Du Bois, Pa., where the de Neufs reside with their three children, ages, 13, 11 and 10.

Hal Burdge and his wife visited Bruce Hulbert at the Naval Training Base in Norfolk, Va., last June. Bruce was back east on some top secret project. Bruce is a lietenant commander stationed in San Diego and expects to be assigned top command of his own ship soon. Hal lives in Mountainside, N.J., but did not mention what he had been up to lately.

Since Wes Roodhouse was out of town, his wife decided to mention a few things for him. Roody has three daughters, four hunting dogs, and during off hours spends most of his time pursuing his favorite hobbies - hunting and gun collecting. The Roodhouses live in Ft. Worth.

Craig Jameson is now associated with the legal department of W.R. Grace & Co. in New York City. Craig and his wife and two daughters, Jennie, age 3 and Karen, age 6 months, are living in a nearly renovated brownstone in Brooklyn. Pierce Felch has moved back to New Jersey, lives in Martinsville, and is now secretary of the 195 Broadway Corporation, a subsidiary of AT&T.

I believe I overlooked the announcement last May that Peter Klaren was awarded an Andrew H. Mellon Fellowship in the Humanities by the Aspen Institute for Humanistic Studies, 1975-1976. Peter is an associate professor of history at George Washington University.

Congratulations to our president!!! Seth and Kathy Strickland are the proud parents of a baby daughter, Elizabeth James, born on November 12, 1975. Looks like 1976 will be a busy year for the Stricklands.
