Troops, this month's news is mighty lean. With reports of a deep freeze over most of the country, I expected that many of you would be down this way to thaw out and that I would hear from some of you, but no such luck. The last time I inquired, mail was still being forwarded to Florida, and I therefore send out an urgent plea for news to avoid having this column turn into a showcase for creative writing, which is really not my bag. Seriously, take ten minutes and drop me a note so that your anxious classmates can know what is happening in your lives.

For those '58s who are ski addicts and have complaints about chairlifts, gondolas, snow makers, etc., call Chuck Lewis in Copper Moutain Colo. Chuck has been referred to as the George Washington of the Copper Mountain area and the father of the resort Chuck was formerly general manager at Vail Chuck started at Winter Park, in 1963 was general manager at Vail, and rose to executive vice president of the Vail ski area before leaving for Copper Mountain. In between jobs in the ski industry. Chuck worked in tax accounting, mostly with the IRS, and for a Denver construction company.
