The Dartmouth Club of Quebec gathered in March to hear Dartmouth Professor of Government Richard Sterling describe the ancient, mythical kingdom of Aztlan, roughly in the same area as present-day southwestern United States.
In attendance at the dinner and discussion held in the Montreal Amateur Athletic Association Clubhouse were Club President Simon Potter '71 and his wife Sandi. Simon's parents. Alan and Freda Potter, vigorously questioned Professor Sterling, as did Mrs. Hanna Lambek, mother of Bernard Lambek '77. Other interested participants in the lively debate were Toby and Laurie Mathias '68 (who will soon move to San Francisco as Toby continues medical research). Caroline and Nick Willis '71 (Nick works for Domtar's financial department), Fred and Thelma Stevens '53, Steven and Victoria Ward'64, and Will Chamberlain '70.
Professor Sterling and Simon Potter met the following morning with George Springate, a member of Quebec's legislative assembly.
