Bill Taylor has always been a prodigious reader, but on account of failing eyesight, his reading time has been greatly reduced. For those so afflicted, he recommends Lowell Thomas' So Long Until Tomorrow, printed on good white paper with good black print. He has to resort to radio news broadcasts instead of books and television, but he is not complaining. He feels he is blessed with pretty good health for his age.

I have just learned of the death of Mrs. JohnVanderpyl. She formerly lived on Fancher Road, Pound Ridge, N.Y. Mary had an interesting life, pursuing the study of underwater life. She went on several expeditions with my old friend, Will Beebe, a world authority in this field. John and I drove his old Ford car up to Hanover for three class reunions. I would plan a business trip to New York and take the New York suburban train to John and Mary's home as our starting point. We studied birds going and coming. What fun We had!

Ken Phelps says he and Ora enjoy getting all the class news and news about the College, and he expresses his appreciation to those in the Class who contribute to this effort. They have limited interests from their hospital beds, so the Dartmouth class news fills a deep void.

A recent letter from Herb Wolff said he had had a bad fall at home. Fortunately, no bones were broken, but he will be hobbling around for some time. Herb's wife Daisy is making slow improvement, but it will be another two or three months before she will be able to walk.

Tenners were pleased to learn from ArtLord's recent "Tenner Topics" that HowardSmith, Vic Willis, Guy Carpenter, and HaroldRobinson are all in fairly good health and enjoying life.

Whitney and Karen Eastman left Sanibel Island May 1, driving home to Minneapolis. Whitney has fully recovered from his operation in February and feels like new.

Since the September Alumni Magazine will carry class reunion news and 1910 will have no reunion news to report, the next issue to carry class news will be the October issue. Art Lord will have an issue of "Tenner Topics'' out in July. 1 will appreciate it if all classmates and class widows will keep in mind that we will be in need of class news for the October issue.
