By the time you read this, 1910's 70th reunion will be history, and Betty Peyton and I will have been to Fort Ann, N.Y., for the interment of Whitney Eastman's ashes and a graveside service on June 9, attended by family members and a few old friends.
The class has lost its bequest chair in the passing of Herb Wolff. Art Lord has arranged with the College to take care of any mailing that needs to be done, as Herb had gotten the class so well signed up. Andy Scarlett's class agent duties are also being handled by the office at Dartmouth.
Art has asked me if I have a copy of the class constitution as he feels it should be consulted at this time. I was unable to find a copy in Whitney's files. Perhaps someone in the class has a copy he would be willing to share with Art.
Again, I must close on a sad note. Mrs.Kenneth Phelps died on October 18, following a stroke. Since Ora's death, Ken has been with her sister in Burlington, N.C., but she reported that he was hospitalized with a heart condition.
