The folks on Cape Ann in Massachusetts are hearing a lot of good things because of Dr. Robert Fritz. Bob has built a soundproof laboratory in his new office at the Cape Ann Medical Center and devotes a considerable portion of his ear, nose, and throat practice to hearing problems.

Bob interned at the University of Rochester after Harvard Medical School and spent three years in residency at the University of Colorado Hospital in Denver before moving to the Gloucester area. He has three children.

Wayne Heekman was recently appointed deputy assistant attorney general for legislative affairs in the U.S. Department of Justice. ... Bob Bach is now director of college relations for Korvettes Department Stores in New York.

Captain Ward Hindman, a development engineer in the Air Force Systems Command, has been named outstanding junior officer of the quarter in his unit at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. ... Alan Leach is a C-130E standardization/evaluation pilot with the 345 th Tactical Airlift Squadron based in Japan, and flies all over the Pacific. He was recently awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal for saving the life of a neighbor who suffered a heart attack.
