Stu Eldredge reports that his show in July was a great success - among the visitors were the Wheatleys and Morins. Stu mentions a portrait of his granddaughter Julia painted by his son-in-law. What a family of gifted artists!
John and Hazel Woodbridge celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary last spring and have done considerable traveling, in the summer, to attend the wedding of a granddaughter in Lake Forest, Ill., and, in September, to be at the wedding of a grandson in New Haven.
To celebrate Don Wilbur's 80th birthday, his. daughter and her husband, the Douglas Browns, gave a party at their home on the campus of Groton School, where Douglas is a senior master. The Chitticks were among the guests. Other Dartmouth guests were Richard and Ruth Nichols '26.
The Holmlunds and Bents represented the class at the second annual clambake sponsored by the Dartmouth and Cornell Clubs of Cape Cod. The Stuarts and Everetts were unable to attend. Ralph is still active and not yet ready to join the ranks of the retired.

Mildred Ellis has written that she intends to sell the farm in Barboursville, Va., and move elsewhere no definite plans as yet.
Larry Kugelman had plans to be in Hanover for the Princeton game, en route to his 60th reunion at Exeter. He expected to see Larry Cate in New Hampshire. Larry leaves for the winter in Cape Haze, Fla., the latter part of October.
The Henrettas divided the summer between their home in Kane, Pa., and Maine.
Edith Ranney saw Spec Ramsdell on Nantucket this summer, where her son Flint is also located.
Bob Fenderson reports that he has given up playing in a string quartet and the Portland Community Orchestra. Bob has been involved in music all his life.
The Kaisers expect to travel to western Africa in February. Meanwhile, they are enjoying the Chicago opera season and a course at the University of Illinois called "Exploring the Arts."
Dave Rubins, while not doing teaching or sculpture because of a bad back, has been made an honorary professor emeritus of Indiana University.
Boyce Butterfield, enjoying retirement in Williamsville, N.Y., is on a cruise to Bermuda on the Volendam with his family as we write this.
Mary Higley writes that her grandson Timothy entered Dartmouth this fall. He is the son of John Higley '51 and the nephew of Richard Higley '49 - certainly a Dartmouth family!
Beatie Adams will be wearing two hats when in Hanover for the fall weekend one as a member of '24 and the other in her position in the Campaign for Dartmouth the final wind up meetings.
And Louise Tupper says "hello" as she sends her dues to Stan. The class is most fortunate to have so many widows interested in class affairs.
