I received the following note early in May from Dr. Radford C. Tanzer '25 of Hanover:
"It is just a year ago this month that Mark Murphy died of cancer of the liver in Boulder, Colo., where he held the position of assistant professor of urban planning at the University of Colorado. The Colorado Foundation has established a Mark Murphy Internship for Small Town Planning in Mark's memory. In view of the unusual response of many of Mark's friends, I thought they might like to know that the sum of $25,000 has already been contributed to that internship."
At Easter, Hayden Young married Camille Melanie Holmes. Appropriately enough, the Youngs live at 518 Dartmouth Ave., Buffalo, N.Y. 14215.
Frederick Weeman, a former account executive at Dean Witter Reynolds, is now with the newly opened office of E. F. Hutton in Elmira, N.Y. Now, when Fred talks, people listen.
I received phone calls in April from DougVukcevic and AI Chidester. Doug lives in New York and works for the Morgan Guaranty Trust. Al has left the law firm of Ropes & Gray in Boston and, since March 1979, has been counsel to Eastern Gas and Fuel Associates. A1, Sandy, and family live in Marblehead.
That wraps it up for this month. Please keep corresponding! It's good to hear from all of you.
