Following the Sun

DARTMOUTH teams moved to warmer climates to prepare for the spring campaign. The Big Green men's lacrosse team practiced for ten days in Bermuda and then defeated Yale and Boston College in its first two outings. The baseball team opened its season in Florida but managed only one victory in 11 games prior to the home opener against Vermont on April 14. Also in Florida during the spring break were the men's and women's crew teams, the men's and women's track teams, and the women's tennis team. The golf team trained under the sunny skies of California for ten days. The men's tennis team also began the season in California.
