Dick and Marion White spent Christmas with their son and his family in Kettering, Ohio, and saw one of their two new granddaughters. The other one, in Penfield, N.Y., was just coming down with chicken pox. How wise they were not to visit Penfield, for chicken pox and shingles are related. Those of us who have experienced the latter will never forget the agony.

Pat and George Stoddard will be returning this month from their favorite winter retreat, a cottage at Kings Ranch, Apache Junction, Ariz. There they have enjoyed sunny weather, with temperatures ranging from 30 to 80 degrees. Daily they were feeding about 50 quail and old coyote friends. They miss Murray Baldwin, who sponsored them at this retreat.

Monk Cameron fled the snow and icy winds of Deer Isle, Maine, to drive about Florida until this month. Wonder if he met up with any classmates?

George Von Kapff avoided the New Hampshire cold by wintering at his favorite watering place, Gulf Stream Hotel, Lake Worth, Fla. He was to return in March all prepared to get his team of agents to remind us the 1982 Alumni Fund will have opened in April.

So far, Dick White writes that 14 have reported to him that they will be at our 1983 reunion; five cannot make it and one is doubtful. Counting wives, the attendees count is 23. From your secretary's check of the class directory, there should be at least 24 more classmates. If all we anticipate come, plus wives and widows, we should have an excellent gathering for our last formal reunion. Everyone keep healthy and arrive in Hanover in June 1983!
