In our last "Sentry" a card was inserted asking classmates for a message about themselves or their classmates. Only four or five members of the class of 1917 replied. Come on, gentlemen, ante up and stay in the game! Those bits of news already in will appear in another newsletter coming out soon. This lack of response leaves your secretary without any class news tor the ALUMNI MAGAZINE column.

The British poet Thomas Hood (1798—1845) once wrote a poem entitled November which gives a good idea of our present situation and frustration. Here is the poem: No warmth, no cheerfulness, no healthful ease, no comfortable feel in any member, no shade, no shine, no butterflies, no bees, no fruits, no flowers, no leaves, no birds, NOvember! The following bit of tomfoolery is your secretary's version: No cooperation, no news, no enthusiasms, no views: this is the way the writer feels, as his fuzzy brain goes around in wheels. SOS.
