Among this month's news items is word that Mark and Bonnie Totman are the proud parents of a little girl, Kendra Lynn Totman, born September 8, 1982. In January, Mark began a new job as head of manufacturing for Applitek, a start-up high tech firm in the data communications business.

Art Hittner has become a partner at the Boston law firm of Peabody and Brown, where his practice consists primarily of securities law.

After spending four years in Washington, D.C., as a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, David Lenci has returned to Seattle, where he is in private practice. He and wife Misi (University of Washington '72) have a 19-month-old daughter, Sascha.

David Kingsley Andersen Shair is a member of the law firm of Ritz and Larson Ltd., a small, general practice firm in Rockford, Ill. Dave writes: "As you can see, my name has been amended to reflect my marriage to Jacquelyn Andersen Shair, nee Jacquelyn Mary Andersen (M.A. Southern Illinois University '82). She had to miss her graduation, which was on the same day as our wedding, May 15." At last writing, Dave was waiting for enough snow for cross-country skiing.

We received this note from Richard Waterman: "Last March, our family my wife Sandy, sons Zack and Dan (ages five and one), and I - moved from Boulder, Colo., to the San Francisco area, where I assumed the position of regional attorney for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The region covers California, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii, and the Pacific Trust territories. The regional attorney's office is 'house counsel' for the department's, employees administering Social Security, Medicaid, Welfare, and other programs. There are about 14 attorneys and 20 other staff in the office. We are slowly becoming acclimated and I hope to expand my Dartmouth alumni activities soon."

Gary Gaspar is working at Mass Mutual in Springfield, his hometown, where he is treasurer of the Dartmouth Club. He and his wife Joanne have a one-year-old daughter, Kirstin.
