Among this month's news is word that our class has surpassed the 16-year-out Dartmouth Alumni Fund record, with total pledges and gifts of $110,000. Special commendation is due class head agent Mike Maynard whose abilities and hard work helped achieve the new Alumni Fund record.
Charlie Collier has been named director of planned giving for Harvard University's faculty of arts and sciences. He had been director of planned giving for Princeton University since 1981. Prior to assuming his position at Princeton, Charlie held development positions at Dartmouth and Phillips Academy. In addition to the new post at Harvard, Charlie is a trustee of the Quebec Labrador Foundation, a member of the American Alpine Club, a member of the Harvard Musical Association, and a corporation member of the Rivers School in Weston, Mass. He and his wife, Sally, live in Wellesley with their two children, Whitney and Benjamin.
