Among this month's news is word that Gregg Young has been named regional partner in charge of the new national accounts division of Trammell Crowe Company. The firm, which is privately held by its 110 partners, is the largest real estate developer in the United States with assets in excess of $7.5 billion. The company owns, leases, and manages more than 180 million square feet of commercial property throughout the United States.

Gregg was marketing partner for the company's Dallas office building division before becoming regional partner, national accounts, in February. He joined the firm as a leasing agent in 1979 after graduating from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Gregg also serves on the corporate council of the Dallas Museum of Art and is a real estate advisor to the Dallas Ballet.

Dr. Frank Watkins was inducted as a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons at the group's 53rd annual meeting at the Convention Center in New Orleans earlier this year. The academy is the nation's largest medical organization for specialists in bone and joint surgery. To be eligible for induction, fellows are required to pass the certifying examination of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. The academy has more than 12,000 member surgeons.

Finally, we received word that GaryGaspar has been named vice president, information systems, at North American Company for Life and Health Insurance, a Chicago-based life insurance company. In his new capacity, he will be responsible for managing the com pany's data processing department. Before joining the company, Gary served as second vice president, information management systems for Acacia Mutual Life Insurance Company in Washington, D.C. North American, with more than $22 billion of life insurance in force, ranks among the top five percent of all life insurance carriers in this category and is currently celebrating it 100 th anniversary in the insurance field.
