Nock Wallis died early in April. His formal obit will appear in this or the next issue. The Class and the College have lost a very loyal member. He has been the head class agent for many years and enabled the class to rack up a good performance. If you have not already done so, send in your Alumni Fund contribution in memory of Nock.

A letter from Don Lovejoy indicates that the rain in Florida has interfered with his golf. His wife had an art show at the Gulfstream Golf Club and there were over 140 pictures on disPay - and Russell reports a slow but sure recoveo from his accident of last fall. And speaking of rkdentS' at DeMond's wife Virginia fell an broke a wrist. Chet reports she has recovere enough to do the cooking.

Isabelle Apteker expresses her appreciarion for the book placed in the library and says, "Dartmouth College meant a great deal to Lou." Helen Rayner, in thanking us for the book, says. "Dartmouth always meant so much to him.

Leonora Welch intended to go through with the plans to move to Salisbury, Conn., and was to have been there by May 1. Ray Hinds expected to be at their summer home in New Hampshire by Memorial Day.

A note from Hanover tells of the passing of Mrs. Si Stein. She had been living in Muscatine, lowa.

The Treats were in Scottsdale, Ariz., for most of the winter. The Martins had lunch with them at the Wigwam.

John W. McCrillis' 19 became the third recipient of the Ford H. Whelden '25 Award as Bequest Chairman of the Year. He was recognized for his "lifetime of loyalty to Dartmouth and invaluable service to the class of 1919," including as class president and vice president as well as, since 1972, as bequest chairman. In the latter role, he has led '19 to a significant increase in confirmed bequest provisions and new life income trusts.
