Although Henry Kauffman may attribute the bull market to lower interest rates and signs of recovery, the Journal reports another possibility Ed Snook. It seems the bears are running scared now that the former Outland Trophy candidate will bless Solomon Brothers with his orthodontistry. Looking suave and sophisticated in his pinstripe suit with matching hip pads, Ed plans to infest Wall Street with general good humor, in much the same way as his predecessor, Franco Sedan.

Our class is noteworthy for its extraordinarily strong contributions to the medical world. Specifically, I am pleased to announce that both Wendy Muello and Karen Kurkijian havebeen named to the National Medical Honor Society for their work at Boston University' This places them in the top ten per cent of their class. Jon Kieve is currently in his residency year in Salt Lake City, tending to various ski injuries. Bill Bonano has returned to med school at Brown, after several years at the University of Mongolia. Less significantly, Ferd Seligsen has become the resident physician for Club Med in Haiti.
Sally Eastman has returned to work on a book and prepare for perhaps another tint in New York at Bankers Trust. Anything would be relaxing after her recent journeys in Africa. Additionally, Judy Roitman recently returned to Hanover to help celebrate ten years of coeducation. She spoke about her current career as a union organizer.
Here are my final wedding announcements: Arthur Pearson is engaged to Barbara Harris; a summer wedding is planned. Bill Hunt is engaged to Cynthia Thompson. Bill is completing his doctoral research in neuroscience at Dartmouth. Perhaps he examined the skull of Mike Gallegher, who continues to play rugby for the Old Green, despite his age and condition.
"It is a zero-sum game," said Bernie Drury recently of his winnings in the commodity market. "Every time I come out on top, it merely means there is a Jack Kiernan on the other end." Bernie had an opportunity to lose his profits to the keen poker mind of Tom Alexander and Don McQueen in the first annual Larchmont Open. Unfortunately, the sly one, Amarillo Bernfeld, was there to rake in the "tickies."
Gerry Widdicombe's Reunion Reminders: Just when I learn to spell his name correctly it is too late to have an impact. I hope to have seen you at reunion.
