Gene Clark writes he and wife Betty are sorry they could not attend the 60th reunion. They doubtless were participating in the spectator waves as they watched the World Series, since they had attended a few of the Padres games.

Dick White reports he is pretty active around Silver Spring, Md., having gone back on the board of directors of the community due to the illness of the man who followed him as treasurer. He took over from him for another year after a too short "retirement" his fourth.

In July your secretary had a grand surprise birthday. His daughter catered a party in Kendal Farmhouse with three grandchildren carrying snack trays. There were 17 of the family attending and as many Kendal friends. A family and friends make life a joy.
