In Paul Guibord's letter to the class about the executive committee meeting and spring of 1990 mini-reunion (also Class Officers Weekend) there was a typographical error—the date of the affair is Friday through Sunday, April 2729. It may be too late for space at the Econo Inn at West Lebanon headquarters for the '36 weekend —but if you decide at the last minute to join us, call the Inn, 603/298-8888 or Paul Guibord at 603/643-6317, and we'll find some spot for you and yours to get in and out of the cold.

We learned that Paul and Cathy Lynch were off on a two-week cruise to somewhere—will have to wait until they come back to find out where they have been. From up in Lakeland (Fla.) comes late word that Fred kneip died suddenly of pneumonia on February 6 despite some progress from his chemotherapy treatments. Our sympathies go to Ray and their three children. Across the peninsula to Lake Worth on the East Coast, Bill Spring says he would like to join the group at Babcock's, but he is currently being sort of a guinea pig for the Local Medicine Man as he tries to cope with various aspects of debilitating arthritis. The prognosis is good, but, as many of us know, maddeningly slow.

Another classmate whose lifestyle has been altered by arthritis is Ed Redington. He has had to suspend tennis and golf, but under the warm Arizona sun he can continue to enjoy his favorite sport, horseback riding.

Back up in the Portland, Maine, area BillNiss has been given a prestigious award from a local group of five churches as Churchman of the Year—a timely recognition of his years of dedicated service. Bill and Abbey are currently on a cruise to Egypt to check on the pyramids and to see what, if anything, they can find in the bullrushes.

An ex-Portland resident, Art Lynch, has now relocated in one of Florida's most attractive little communities, Mount Dora. Art says he spends his retirement on the golf course (with a 15 handicap) and just smiling at his neighbors.

Perhaps the Vermont winter has been more bitter than allowed in the U.S. Weather Bureau records, but up in Rochester, Vt., it would surely warm the cockles of his heart if you would let Clay Mellor know that your 1990 gift to the Alumni Fund was on its way to Hanover in an even bigger package.

And while Joe Cunningham and BarrySullivan continue to put their heads and talents together we ask you to remember it's only a year away to '36 + 55 = 1991, Reunion June 10-12.

You all come—Yes!
