It is the year of the 70th reunion 1984 and it is hoped that many of you will be in Hanover on June 8-10. I will look forward to meeting you at that time.
Mail does get delivered to my mailbox in the country, but not much comes from the class of '14, I'm sorry to say.
Word has been received that Walter F. Daley passed away on August 24, 1983, following a broken hip accident. Up until that time he had been in good health and living alone, with his daughter living nearby. He was a month away from his 91st birthday.
Myron Files writes from a new address Cressey Apartments, Gray Road, Gorham, ME 04038 that he retired at 62, after teaching 41 years at Tufts, to join his father and two brothers to "play" at blueberry farming in Maine. Now, at 91, he draws and paints in watercolor. His wife crochets, and a greatgrandchild benefits from their creative results. Myron says that even old people need something creative to do. A son who lives nearby keeps in touch, takes them shopping, etc. Drop Myron a line and you might be the recipient of one of his drawings or watercolors. He would like to hear from Sig Larmon.
Are you going to be at the 70th? Let me know so I can put your name in the next '14 column.
