This is the last column of notes until the October issue. Thus it is well we dedicate it to our ladies, the only ones to report to your secretary.
Mary Shanklin has had a double tragedy; shortly after her father, George C. McBride, died, her husband died. She and her mother, who is in a nursing home, are meeting life with fortitude.
Mineta Morey, widow of Syl, lives happily near Great Barrington, surrounded by friends. She appreciates class notes and "The Roar," through which the class is kept together.
Pat Stoddard found her cruise to Greece, Egypt, Israel, Cyprus, Rhodes, and Turkey delightful and educational.
Catherine Angell, widow of Cyril, still lives alone in Randolph, Vt. She reports a bird new to Vermont in her garden a cardinal. Her son Norman '56 lives in Bethel and is attentive to his 91-year-old mother, a most remarkable, cheerful lady.
Marian Bingham, widow of Jake, recalls the good times they had at class gatherings, including Class Officers Weekend.
A thoughtful contribution to the 1984 Alumni Fund through a gift in memory of classmates is much appreciated. Participation in the Alumni Fund maintains a tradition of continuing support of the College.
