Not too early to start thinking about 10th Reunion! If we continue the trend that was established at our fifth, the men will be paunchier and balder, and the women will look better than ever. Why is this?

I predict many children at our next reunion. Carl Hjelm and wife, Lisa, are the proud parents of Kirsten Elizabeth, born February 1.

I predict many more spouses. Pixie Keating is engaged to rowdy Ray Paradiso.

Perry Smith is engaged to the enticing Eva Margaret Ribarits. Perry has a law degree from American University and a master of law degree from B.U. I know I'm impressed. (At least once, I'd like to do a column on all the failures in the class. All these success stories make me feel inadequate.)

Bruce Fitzsimmons recently married the alluring Alyson Hunt. They were pictured together, in the Globe. Bruce looks quite the distinguished real estate attorney that he is. I hardly recognized you, Bruce.

I predict we will be asked to give money. While you men are thinking about your fat stomachs and bald heads, and you women are thinking about how great you look, reach for your checkbooks and give something to the 1988 Alumni Fund. The College is a mother—but she's our mother.
