In a year when many in our class qualify for Medicare by turning 65, Jim Adams has suggested a questionnaire to check on such things as attitudes toward the College, personal and occupational attainments, political leanings, health, and habits.

Copies of Jim's proposed questionnaire were distributed in September in EddieO'Brien's class newsletter. Jim is soliciting suggestions for the final survey, which may be distributed later this year.

Jim also needs help from a computerwise classmate to tabulate the results. Individual questionnaires will be confidential, but the statistical results will be announced as soon as they are tabulated. Jim's address: c/o Fox and Carskadon, 222 El Camino Real, Redwood City, CA 94062. His telephone number: (415) 3698050.

After a stop-off in Hanover from his home base in Panama, Val Vallarino is en route to Finland at this writing for a small nations' conference on worldwide business opportunities. His itinerary calls for Val to visit Leningrad in the Soviet Union and Amsterdam in Holland before returning home.

The list of retirements continues to grow. Dave Cooper reports from Tariffville, Conn., that he and Grace are "enjoying retirement tremendously." They spent three days in July with Ken andPriscilla Sorlien at Squam Lake in New Hampshire.

Hud King reports from Atlanta that he sold his automobile parts business in June, then he and Lois celebrated his retirement by traveling to England and Scotland for the 50th anniversary of Tabor Academy's victory in the Thames Challenge Cup.

We're just catching up with the fact that Don Clark retired in February as an advertising executive with a subsidiary of the Itek Corporation. He and Dorothy live in Sagamore Beach, Mass.

In mid-August, Electra and I traveled by plane (a mistake) to Portland, Ore., for a reunion of the Smith clan. My mother's maiden name was Smith. Ten of my 23 first cousins attended. I met some of them for the first time.

And, wouldn't you know, Doc Fielding is reading plays for the fall theater season. Some time ago, Doc pared his medical practice to gynecology, which gave him time for thespian pursuits.
