For those of you making the trek to Hanover for the Harvard game in October, a joint cookout with the class of '63 has been planned for Saturday afternoon before and after the game. There will be a cash bar which will be open from noon to 1:30 p.m. and again from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The cookout portion will take place after the game and will include a choice of a 1½ lb. lobster or a 14 oz. steak. The tent will be located at the corner of Park and Wheelock Streets. The price is expected to be about $16 for adults and $8 for children.
Bob Goodman has been named president and general campaign manager of the United Way of South Hampton Roads, Va. In addition to being a partner in the law firm of Kaufman and Canoles, he is chairman of the board of the Children's Health Foundation and a director of the Norfolk State Foundation. Bob was formerly chairman of the development campaign for the Eastern Virginia Medical School and is a past director of the Virginia Stage Company and Junior Achievement. After Dartmouth he went on to Harvard Law School and currently makes his home in Virginia Beach.
Pete Koenig has been named to the post of Mercer County (N.J.) Prosecutor. Before taking over the new position Pete was Mercer County Counsel and municipal prosecutor for both Hopewell Township and Hopewell Borough. In the top Mercer County spot he will now oversee the prosecution of over 3,000 cases per year.
Rather indirectly it was learned that Tony Kaufmann is vice president of Grolier Internationa! Inc., where he oversees marketing services and business development.
