Hanover received news from three members of the class of 1917: Chauncey A. Steigerjust celebrated his 94th birthday in February. He resides in Longmeadow, Mass., with his wife, Hazel, and is chairman of the board of Albert Steiger, Inc., a chain of family-owned retail department stores. Chauncey still reports for work at least once a week, is actively engaged in the business and has never officially retired. He also finds time to meet twice a week for lunch with his "Little League," a group of senior men from the Longmeadow Country Club, get on the golf course to putt a few holes, and enjoy his hobby of bird watching.

Philip Woodwell sends greetings to fellow members of the class of '17.

On a sad note, Mrs. Leonard Shea died October 14, 1986.
