If you didn't skip a grade, stay back a grade, start kindergarten early or take off a year after high school to sail across the ocean, chances are you were born in 1975 and you will turn the big 3-0 this year. So, happy 30th birthday to the class of' 97! Congratulations!
This past Saturday, February 26, RJ Sheedy s girlfriend Patricia Pu surprised RJ with a 30th birthday party in Manhattan. Adam Grant, Dave Jackson, Josh Jarrett, Emilio Mena, Neal Rich, Dave Rubatelli, Dave Zipkin and I represented the class of '97. RJ and Patricia were also joined by their families and friends from Harvard Business School, where they met. Across town, Patty Jen and Amy Henry celebrated their 30 th birthdays with friends the same night.
Next weekend, Jill McCammon McMahon, Holly (Thomas) Landsittel and I are heading down to Charlottesville, Virginia, to surprise Maura (Troy) Bigelow for her 30th birthday.
Peter Scheidt celebrated a different milestone in October. On the 18th, he became a dad with the birth of his son Harry. Peter, his wife Joni and their baby live in Queens, New York.
In January Chris Butler and McCall Guyton- Edmiston were married in Atlanta. Brian Gilpin, Colin Gorman and Chris Laws served as groomsmen. Other '97s in attendance were Steve Lee, Nicole Galanek (with fiance John Chase) and Jill McCammon McMahon. Brians wife, Bethany Gilpin '96, also attended. The newlyweds reside in Manhattan.
I wanted to pass on a nice invitation from the class of '92, which is welcoming all Dartmouth alumni to family picnics in June. They'll take place in the Boston area, New York City, San Francisco and Los Angeles. For the exact dates and places, visit www.dartmouth.org/classes/92/index.html.
