Joel and Susan Hyatt have returned to their hometown as Hyatt Legal Services has moved its national headquarters back to Cleveland after being in Kansas City for the past several years.

A note from Barb and Dave Mitchell in Walnut Creek, Calif., came a few days too late to be included with news of several other classmates in the Bay area last month. Dave is fermentation manager for Chiron Corporation, a genetic engineering company. The Mitchells have two children, Sarah, four, and Matt, eight, and Barb mentioned a nice visit to Hanover last summer. I also received a note from Paul Erland, who has been living in Nashville for the last six years. Paul and his wife, Joan, are expecting their first child this month, and Paul is in the process of finishing his first novel. It turns out that Paul wasn't just the strong, silent type—he was taking notes. I'll bet our class president would like to see the chapter on the freshman basketball team.

Speaking of Peter Broberg, he managed to make it up to Boston for the Harvard game, where he joined Young Dawkins,Jon Einsidler, Dale Heussner, Phil Weinstein, Bill Aydelott, Jim Conway, MikeHills, Jack Manning, Craig Bently, and Sheldon Prentice for the post-game wake. Mike Hills was in the process of moving to Massachusetts from New Jersey and Jack Manning was on his annual fall trip to the East Coast. Craig Bently is now working for the Bank of Boston, and the rest of the regular crew is apparently reporting no change. Shel also reports that Dick Krantz is moving to Wichita, Kans., which may seem a bit domestic after his last several foreign assignments.

Finally, Jon Einsidler has been working hard putting together a winter mini-reunion for the weekend of February 20-22. You should have received more information about this in a class newsletter. I hope you made plans for the weekend, which will include skiing, home sports events, entertainment, and perhaps a dinner with another class ('71 or '73).
