Well, it will probably happen again as it has in the past: we've reached an info-gap crisis ... an abyss . . . nuthin' to print. Other than happy Saint Paddy's Day and all the blarney for those of the Irish persuasion. (Note to ed.: please spell my name O'Lin this month.)

MID-WINTER MINI: Since it hasn't happened yet: no report.

MID-WINTER MISSIVES: Received a pretty good picture of Tuckerman's Ravine but Sandy and Howie Weston were squinting into the sun at the foot last April. Howie decided not to get high-jacked and retired as a pilot from TWA November 1. Yes, as claimed, they did add a touch of class to the environs, and the photo proves it. Address: Old Antrim Rd. Box 86, Antrim, NH 03449.

Randi and Nev Chamberlain got back from a cruise around South America too late to make the fall mini. But you know that. But did you see 'em last month?

Mary and Jim Lyons expected to open their mountain for another ski season in Sunapee. But was it only one Saturday before Christmas? Dunno.

Stretch Pendleton threatened invading Darien. Did it happen? Do you care? No.

MEANDERING MINISTER: Larry Huntley has been peripatetic. He rang my bell with his Just Like You and Me—Only Different. That's the title for his unpublished book about and with and for the mentally retarded. Maybe this year, Larry. You obviously enjoyed your tour through Scotland and New England and the invasion of Florida last spring and driving a 1967 Plymouth (???) north from Gainesville 32609 (2917 NE 16th Terrace). Good to hear from you, but how about meandering again when more of us can catch up with you?

MIDWEST MOM: Jane and Hugh Brower shared pix of Mare and Brian Hickey's firstborn, Ann Brower Hickey, born last November 7. Is she ready to play hop-scotch yet? „ .

MINDSET MEMO: The aforementioned, retired minister, Larry, noted our comment a while back regarding advancing amnesia. Suggests Mr. Huntley, "If you can't remember something, forget it." Okay, already.

Let's forget it for now and we'll regroup next month.
