With the exception of the hazardous wastes (otherwise knows as "the brothers") found in fraternity basements, Hanover was a relatively contaminant-free environment. Admittedly, the air surrounding Thayer was not always "April fresh," but it wasn't too bad, either. Perhaps it was the untainted natural resources of New Hamp- shire that lured Corey Brinkema to study earth sciences at Dartmouth. Having been trained in the function and operation of Mother Nature's various parts, Corey has now sought to use his knowledge to pre- serve the good earth's bounty. Corey is working with an environmental consulting group that advises companies on the dis- posal of hazardous wastes. Apparently a seismography class was not required for the earth sciences major, because Corey has chosen to settle on the shaky soil under- neath San Francisco.

Surely you will be pleased to know that Corey's efforts benefit the bodies of many '86s who inhale the air molecules surrounding San Francisco. Following a year studying Russian history at Cambridge University, Kris Hagerman headed for the Golden Gate city. There he tills away for McKinsey, a management consulting firm. Kris is one of the legion of outdoorsmen who are grateful for environmentalists like Corey. Much of Kris's spare time is spent climbing mountains or looking through catalogs for outdoor sports equipment.

Loads of other '86s are strengthening their legs and lungs merely by walking to work in their hilly city. Liz Babb still draws a paycheck from First Boston, an invest- ment bank, but she was transferred from NYC to San Francisco. Chach Curtis (Drexel Burham Lambert) and Chip Mellon (Shear- son Lehman) are also junior investment bankers. Lynn Tracy studies law at Hastings University. Hank Gibson and JimKallman work for Bain, a consulting firm. Kris van Hook is in city government.

While Corey protects the amber plains of grain from chemical assault, two other '86s protect the spacious skies from attacks of a different sort. Paul Dion recently finished training to become an air force navivgator. Since graduation Phil Burrow has been learning to fly with the navy. On December 5 he made his first landing on an aircraft carrier. Believe it or not, we taxpayers trust Phil with an A4 jet, the same plane flown by the Blue Angels.

Orgasmo Adulto Escapes from the Zoo may sound like your autobiography, but you probably have not had that exciting a life. In fact, Orgasmo is a play starring our own Melinda Lopez, whose acting experience also includes a role in Landscape of the Body. Though this sounds like adults-only entertainment, Melinda's mom assures me that it is entirely decent and proper.

Keith Noyes works for the Bank of Boston, but don't be fooled into thinking he works in Bean Town. Taiwan is his home.
