While vacationing in July at the Seaward Inn I met a likable young man who had a summer job working in the kitchen. He is 6 feet 5 inches tall and played basketball at Rockport High School. He is now a Dartmouth freshman.

Hal and Martha Geilich decided against a trip to New England for the summer months. They were pleased that daughter Margery made them an August visit in Florida.

Lorna Symmes enjoys reasonably good health in Portsmouth. Her son, Parker, lives in Concord, Mass. His daughter, Virginia, an attorney, made a legal contract with an attorney during a wedding ceremony in September. Lorna, in spite of being legally blind, continues to be a "hooker" ana has made a total of 45 hooked rugs.
