Once again I've got more than enough news for this month, so if you've written but don't see your report, stay tuned for the November issue.

Congratulation to Mike Viccora, who was married to Elaine Rock (Georgetown '85) in August. Mike is in his second year at George Washington Law School. RichFulcher was at the wedding, and read the many telegrams Mike "received" from the rich and famous (i.e. Sly Stallone, Robin Leach, etc.). While Rich is in his second year at Washington and Lee Law School, many believe that he will eventually replace David Letterman. John Palmer finished his first year at Kellogg and his tennis game has never been better! He worked for Time Inc. this sumer and will spend the fall studying in Thailand. George Eldridge also finished his first year of B-school at the University of Chicago. Joe Niehaus graduated from Harvard B-School and moved to San Francisco to work for a buyout group. BobGough is still enjoying fun in the sun in L.A., and when he's not playing volleyball he's working at TRW. Pieter Van Tol received his master's in history at Columbia, and word on the street is he's not only contemplating law school, but also marriage.

I know I reported news of Dave Marder and Margaret Warram's wedding in my May column. However, I now have additional details. Over 25 alums attended and I certainly hope that I didn't hurt anyone's feelings by not going into more detail at the time! Starting with Dave and Margaret, who are living in Allston, Dave is working as an attorney for Hale & Door, and Margaret is a toddler/pre-school teacher in a daycare center. Beth Parish graduated from Duke B-School this May and will be working for Noxell in Baltimore. Karen Garbe and Terri Sergesketter will be starting B-school in Chicago this fall. Melanie Dovle is still in Boston working in insurance sales, Anne Johnson is in a master's program in Arizona studying archeo-geology. She is spending the summer in France on a dig. Kirsten Johansen is finishing her second year at Duke Med School and is rumored to be engaged. Bindi Rakhra is in Hanover working for Alumni Affairs. According to Shelley Leavitt, Dan Studnicky is in Washington, D.C., where he began a job in development. Shelley is in Boston working as a child welfare specialist.

Dr. Craig Williamson just got married to Kim Kline, whom he met at UVA, and will be moving with Kim to Albany, N.Y., to begin his residency. Todd Cranford is in Detroit working for a judge while he studies for the bar. Scott Hylton is living in Lawrence, Mass., and is die director of computer programs for the public schools.

Larry Weidner II and Pamela Pastore were married on December 17,1988, in Brigantine, N.J. Alums at the wedding: EricHuckaby, Chip Miller, Steve Parry, Barbara Whipple, Kathy Reilly, Cliff Weber,Sal Source, Ron Wybranowski, Mike Caron, Mike Smith, Mike Gross, Jack Shea, Taylor Thomas '88, Larry Whittemore '88, Frank Comas '88, Jay Henry '88, Brian Duncan '88, and Bryan Weidner '88.

Speaking of Barbara Whipple, congratulations are in order. Barbara, assistant director of Alumni Affairs, was recognized by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) for her alumni program at the United Nations, "Dartmouth in the World." The program won two gold medals!

Sharon Matthews is having the time of her life living in Chile! She plans to live and work there for at least several months.

Aspiring actress Carole Crelin, whose one-woman cabaret shows have been loyally attended by many NYC alums, just completed a showcase of the original musical Take it From the Top at the Riverside Shakespeare Theatre in Manhattan. This summer she was at theaters in Maryland and Pennsylvania playing leading roles in Dames atSea, The Nerd, Godspell, Equus, and HelloDolly! Carole, who has been waiting tables while studying, auditioning, and performing, shares a Greenwich Toft with CraigByrne, Morgan banker and blues guitarist.

Hope everyone enjoyed the summer and is planning a fall weekend up in Hanover!
