Summer. Already. In less than a year we'll be in Hanover celebrating our 5th Reunion. I don't know about you, but when I was an under class woman even the youngest alumni seemed pretty mature. How perceptions change!

Thanks to everyone who has written lately, especially those who wrote with congratulations on the birth of Connor. It's encouraging to hear that you actually read this column and feel that when you write, I'll spread your news within a few months.

Congratulations to Gretchen Wahl and her husband, Tom, who celebrated their first anniversary on March 20. The happy couple met the summer prior to Gretchen's graduation, and have been together ever since. After a short and disastrous stint working at a bank (where she learned that the straitlaced bank and her personality clashed), Gretchen went into sales. She's currently working for Patagonia in their Seattle store. It seems like a great company to work for, as they encourage employees to obtain firsthand knowledge of their equipment. They recently sent Gretchen on a beginning rock climbing course, and are also working with her on her "outdoor" skills such as flyfishing and spinner-fishing. Apparently Gretchen and Tom are enjoying it and plan to vacation in Alaska, where the fishing and scenery are even better.

Keith and Allison (Shutz) Moskow have decided to leave their honeymoon beach bungalow in southern California this summer to return to New England. Keith is planning to open his own architectural office, and Allison is going to enroll in a graduate program in art history.

Let's see, who and what else shall I write about? Bill and Dana Miller's March wedding in San Antonio seems to have been the event of the season. Richard Weissman,Katie Leed, and Moon Askari were all there, and they celebrated their reunion and the wedding excitement with a quick dip in the San Antonio River.

That's all the news for now. Have a heart and root for the Chicago Cubs. At the moment they're hanging in there.
