"There are some tilings that are impossible to know .. . but it is impossible to know these things." Which is a thought that soothes me as I sift through our class address list, scavenging for interesting tidbits on the where- abouts and activities of our classmates. Is the list up-to-date? I mean, is John Godoy really still in Sweden? Does Scott Osman really consider New York his home but Paris his workplace? Has Winston Hutchins really been able to hold down a job? At any rate, please forgive me if you are no longer where I think you are. And please make an effort to keep Hanover informed of your current addresses. I mean, why not? It's not like you're going to get a tuition bill, or an overdue notice from Baker. Keeping Hanover current means that you'll be sure to receive all of the important materials regarding our 10th Reunion, June 15-17, 1990.
So here I am, rummaging through the address list. Jim Goldman is/was aproduct manager with General Mills in Toronto. Ted Goldstock (wife Tami) is/was vice president of H & H Services in Baltimore. Ellen Groetch LaBarge is an attorney with the Dairylea Cooperative in Syracuse, and Barry Krumm is in Poughkeepsie, as an engineer with IBM.
Sandy Koonce is/was an assistant professor at Vassar. In fact, there are a number of academics in the class. Bill Carlsen is/was in the education department at Cornell; Dan Ernst is/was teaching at Georgetown Law; and Craig Smith is/was in the psych department at Vanderbilt.
Let's go to the Ps. Jamie Phillips is/was an assistant district attorney in Brooklyn. Mallory and Triff H'Doubler Phillips have some charming daughters in Atlanta. (Did you know that Triffs birthday is New Year's Eve?) Stacy Phillips is/was an attorney in Los Angeles, with the firm of Jaffe and Clemens.
And finally, to the end of the address list. Rick Zogby is/was an orthopedic surgeon at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. SamZolondek is an attorney with Weil, Gotshal and Manges in Houston, and Ben Zuraw practices law with Pillsbury, Madison and Sutro in San Francisco.
And me, I'm still in the "M" section. Back in August, I resigned from my fundraising job at Harvard, married Bill Kissick, and moved to Philadelphia. Bill is finishing off his M.B.A. at Wharton, and I am a consul- tant with Marts and Lundy, a fundraising consulting firm.
