What is the best place to live for people who have been out of college for over 65 years? We have all extremes. There are those couples who have two homes, each fully equipped, and divide the year between them. There are couples whose only home is in a location usually considered as a retirement area. There are couples who have bought into an extended- care facility where they have only a room or two and most if not all of their meals, as well as health-care facilities as part of the package.
Then there are couples who settle for one house, but do quite a bit of traveling. There are couples where both parties are essentially home all day, and couples where one or both members go to an office or other outside activity for a substantial part of the day. There are couples who spend most of their time living with their children. There are couples who spend most of their time having their children live with them. What is best—or does every situation require a different answer? Many of us have made changes in the last few years. Would we recommend the same change to others, or would we even argue against this? What better way to find out what works and why, than to consult amongst ourselves. Your comments please. Widows, widowers, or just plain old bachelors, if we have any, are encouraged to rephrase the situation described to relate to them and join in making comments.
