I'm presently waiting for my case to be called in the City of Atlanta Muncipal Court and wishing I were on the porch of the Hanover Inn watching the build- ing of the bonfire and anticipating a victory over Yale. Instead I'm watching the mass of humanity parade before a city judge where the wrongfully accused will have their cases bound over or dismissed and bond granted or denied. While a judge determines whether my client was, in fact, impersonating a police officer, my thoughts turn to Hanover's rapturous autumn display.
wife, Karen, is taking a long sabbatical from teaching in the Marietta school district to care for Warren 5 1/2 and Scott 1 1/2.
Pete Moreau and Bryan O'Hanlon and his wife, Betsy Shiland, have just returned from a trip to Tanzania and Kenya.
John Elsenhans and his wife, Lynn, are presently living in Houston, Tex. John is with Texas Commerce Bank, and Lynn in the controller's office of Shell's corporate office. John will serve as the 1974 coordinator for leadership givers, those who contribute one thousand or more dollars to Dartmouth.
Peter Blodgett serves as town librarian in Thetford, Vt., and commutes to Simmons College in Boston where he is studying for his M.A. in librarianship. Peter remains involved in peace and environmental issues and lectures on these issues in upper New England.
Duncan Todd is with the publishing company Thomas Todd and Sons in Boston. They publish children's books, including the Chris Van Allsburg books Wreck ofthe Zephyr and Polar Express.
Chas Carner, a freelance author in New York City, is working on his latest project, the most recent volume in the "walks" series of travel guides to the great cities of the western world. Previous volumes covered Jerusalem, Paris, and Florence. Chas spent several weeks last winter and spring in Venice, researching the upcoming guide.
Tony Caliendo lives in Maui, is an EMT in Lahaina, and coaches and competes in windsurfing. He has offered to assist JackMartin, who is still considering the possibility of participation in the windsurfing competition in the upcoming summer Olympics.
Barbara Donovan, daughter of Jack Donovan '38, was in the United States this fall and visited Charles Donovan '43, and his wife, Ruth, in Pottstown, Pa. Barbara is with Radio Free Europe and lives in Munich. She is a news analyst for the affairs of East Germany. A world traveler, she is fluent in three languages.
