There is a chill in the air and it makes me think that soon flurries will be flying over the Hanover Plains. Of course, once that happens, I start to think about warm, sunny days which must be lurking on the horizon and that thought triggers an excitement within, reminding me that our 20th Reunion is just around the bend! Many classmates are already making their plans to attend the jubilant event. They will come from every corner of the earth, bearing news of experiences gained over the past 20 years. New spouses, new babies, new jobs, new locations... what a joy it will be to take a few days out of our busy lives to rekindle thoughts of old: old friends, old memories, old hangouts.

Just in via email: news from ColeenO'Brien. Coleen was wed to David FitzGerald (Lafayette '76, Warton '80) on April 17, 1999, in Newton, Mass. Fellow '80s in attendance were Casey Giles, Anne and Grant MacEwan (with their three children) children), and Pixie Keating Paradise with husband Ray and daughters Lucinda and Emma. Also in attendance were Walter Chick '79 and Cynthia Bloch 'Bl. Casey and Anne served as bridesmaids. Coleen works for Cisco, a large company that recently took over her previous place of employment, American Internet Corp. Coleen reports that Casey is an attorney in Los Angeles where she and husband Tony Pinto reside with their two children Armie (who looks just like her mom!) and Alex.

Shortly after Coleen's wedding, CharlieCarroll also took the plunge into marital oliss. Charlie and his new wife, Laura Edmiston, were married on May 1 in Larchmont, N.Y. Charlie is a partner in the Manhattan law firm Simpson Thacher, and Bartlett.

Regina Rehkamp Ketting gave birth to a little girl, Juliana Mari, on March 16. Regina and husband Jaap returned to the states for Juliana's christening. The ceremony was performed by Father Gerry Murray. Others in attendance were Brooks Shumway,Jeanet Hardigg Irwin, Megan Thomas '79 with husband Dr. Robert Olson '71, and Carol McGee Harrington '78.

Representing Morristown, N.J., at our 20th Reunion will be Katie Wiley Laud. Katie and her husband Paul (both Tuck alums) have three children, Matt 10, Charlie 7, and Maisie 5. Katie serves as a director of the bank her father started and also chairs the Trust Committee. She spearheaded the efforts to apply for Trust powers, designed the business plan, and is now overseeing staffing, marketing, and policies. Katie is anxiously awaiting the Reunion and is hoping EVERYONE is planning to attend. Don't disappoint her!

If you live in the San Francisco area, you may have caught a glimpse of Kevin Ryan on the prime time news or in your local newspaper headlines. Kevin is a Superior Court judge and recendy sat at the helm of a high-profile murder case. Also, word has it that Bobby Brown and his lovely wife, SuMoon, throw incredible holiday parties in San Francisco. According to Jeff Boylan '79 (a fellow scribe), these parties come complete with jugglers, sushi, and everything. Maybe we should nominate them to help out with the Reunion party co-ordination!

The count down is on: eight months, four days, 16 hours, 24 minutes, 80 seconds...and counting. Make a commitment right now to BE THERE in Hanover June 16-18!
