Bee and I came back from Florida into three weeks of drizzle and fog. It's all over now and when you read this it will be spring.
Bunny Metzel writes of a fine time at Epcot and Disney World and of being with Ginny and Bud Pope. She will be on a trip into Russia this summer sponsored by the Chicago Council on Foreign Relations. A long letter has just arrived from Flo Miner saying that at present she is quite dependent on a walker and that the hip is doing well. The old home is not at present up for sale. Flo is planning on moving into North Hill sometime later to join the other Dartmouth grads, wives, and widows. There are almost 30 of us dating back to a 1918 grad.
Henry Perkins of Northfield, Vt., although almost blind, still takes to his skis with a friend on the slopes of Cranmore and Waterville Valley. Congratulations to an avid skier.
Major Bird writes that all (or most all) is well.
Paul Soley indicates he is in perfect health and that he too will be on the continent this summer and will fly home from there over the North Pole.
We need more items like the above. Keep them coming.
For those of you who may need medical care later, or even now, construction on the new Dartmouth Medical Center is progressing. It will be the finest possible in every way.
